CHOLESTROL ABNORMALITIES
High cholesterol is linked with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. That can include coronary disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease. Cholesterol complexity stems from its multifactorial aetiology, involving a delicate interplay of genetic predispositions, dietary habits, and intricate metabolic pathways. Genetic factors contribute to variations in cholesterol synthesis and metabolism, while dietary choices influence cholesterol intake and absorption. Metabolic intricacies further underscore the dynamic regulation of cholesterol levels in the body. Understanding the nuanced nature of cholesterol as a complex disease underscores the importance of personalized interventions for lifestyle adjustments to achieve optimal lipid profiles along with controlled stress levels and promote long-term cardiovascular well-being.
